Healthy Smiles at the Clifton Children’s Dentist

If you want to do something today that your children will most certainly thank you for later, take them to see a children’s dentist in Clifton.  It is very important that kids learn to take care of their teeth and mouths at an early age, so they can develop lifelong healthy habits.  It is also good for them to know that the dentist is not someone to be feared, but someone who can be trusted and is going to help them.  To make this possible, consider a visit to Clifton Pediatric Dental Care.

At Clifton Pediatric Dental Care, Dr. Ari Sugarman and his team have many years of combined experience working with children.  As a children’s dentist in Clifton, he understands the fears and concerns children have in his office and works to teach them that oral hygiene is nothing to be scared about.  Since patients only make occasional visits, he also teaches them how to take care of their teeth on their own.

Healthy, clean teeth instill confidence and protect your child’s health as well.  Give them the gift of healthy habits by bringing them to a Clifton children’s dentist.  To learn more about our office or to schedule an appointment, call Clifton Pediatric Dental Care today at 973-473-7377.

The main reason for loss of tooth was discovered be considered a to a direct result sever periodontal disease (gums and teeth) that may be prevented or cured with proper flossing and brushing techniques. Once gingivitis has had your hands on your nicotine gums and morphed into periodontal disease, the danger for loss of tooth increases.

  3. Few days back I was discussing with a dentist in Silver Spring regarding my child’s oral health. He explained me why healthy teeth habits are essential for children to maintain good oral health. He told me that if parents fail to provide a healthy teeth habits to their kids then their kids may end up with fillings and crowns at an early age. The FAQ link which you have provided in your post will definitely help parents to take care of their kid’s dental health.

  10. I agree, helping a kid have a healthy smile while he's young can benefit him so much in his life. We teach our grand kids to brush their teeth both day and night. We have a little song that they turn on, and once the song is over they can go spit out the toothpaste. It has really worked great at keeping them motivated to brush daily. http://www.engineeringdesignersmiles.com/pediatric_dentistry.html

  11. My friend has been looking for a quality pediatric dentist, but hasn't had any success yet. She asked me to help her out, but I'm in the same boat as her, and don't really know to much about stuff like this. This has some great insights though that I think could really help my friend find what she's looking for.

  12. It has been over a year since I have taken my kids in to see the dentist. They still have baby teeth, but I think that it is just as important for them to take care of their teeth even though they're going to all fall out soon. They always just make such a fuss every time that I take them to the dentist. http://www.childrensdent.com

  14. Last year when I was looking for a new dentist for my 7 year old, something that I really looked for in a company was years of experience in pediatric dentistry. Not that new companies are bad, I just feel more comfortable with more experience. http://drmontillo.com/peds.html

  15. I have been looking for a place to take my little one to fill a cavity. It is hard to know which place will take the best care of your child though. I like to read blogs of potential pediatric dentists and see which one I could take my son to.

  16. My son is absolutely terrified of getting some cavities filled. He is six. I would love to know how you go about building those bonds of trust with such young patients. I want to help my son on this end be better prepared for a dentist that is just trying to help him out.

    1. It seems like it would be really tricky to build a bond between a dentist and a really young patient. I remember that I was always terrified of going to the dentist as a kid. It wouldn't have been so bad had I taken better care of my teeth. It seems like it would be more possible for a kid to develop a good relationship with their dentist if they don't have to go in for many painful procedures.

  17. At what age should I start bringing my children to the dentist? I know that the baby teeth can impact the growth and development of future teeth, so I want to make sure that I stay on top of it. I also want to teach my children good dental hygiene from a young age.

  18. I believe that taking a child to see a dentist early can help them. Not only with the health of their teeth, but helping them not be afraid of dentists. Being able to counter that potential fear early is key. Having that fear will only hold them back when there is a lot to enjoy.

  19. I agree that it's really important for children to learn at an early age what they need to do to take care of their teeth. I've actually been trying to help my youngest with that for a little while now. It's about time for another dental appointment for him, so it should be interesting to see how he's been doing with keeping his teeth clean.

  21. Getting my kids to go to the dentist is a battle every time. My daughter had to go get a cavity filled, and getting her to go was such a challenge. I think that maybe, if they go to a pediatric dentist, that is used to working with kids, maybe they might do better.
